Tues, July 26th: Good By to NC Friends, Hummingbirds

There were lots of low hanging clouds in the campground this morning.

Looking toward the railroad tracks:

  Looking toward town:

Looking north; that's us on the right:

We said good-by to Linda, Larry, & Brett as they left Silverton without their yellow Jeep.
 :(
We are praying for safe travels and continued healing for these dear friends.  Here we are getting our good-by hugs from their Duke:

 Lap dog:

It rained all day so we stayed in watched movies & pigged out on junk food.  I have not been able to keep the hummingbird feeders filled up fast enough.  They land on my hand while I am hanging the feeder.  It feels really weird.  They are so light, but their wings generate a LOT of air; feels like a fan.  The rest of today's pictures are all birds:

Sitting on my hand (taken thru the window screen):
Love this crooked beak:

Glad the Thompsons feel better and pray that they continue to heal. Love the hummingbird pics. Pat and JEnnifer said Amy's neighbors would be haunting us because of the hummingbird windchime. No one yet.
