Sat July 30th: Minnie Gulch

We were solo today as we traveled Minnie Gulch.  It's an easy trail not too far from town and reaches an elevation of almost 12,000 feet.  (Don't forget you can click on any picture to enlarge.  Use the back arrow in the toolbar to return to the blog.)


 The old stable for the Caledonia Mine; the miners' boarding house has fallen down:

 There were a few flowers here and there but for the most part have peaked in this gulch:

 Solid white Columbine (state flower)
 More Columbines (typical color):


 NOPE - NO WAY you're taking MY rock!!
