Fri July 1: LOST DOLLAR ROAD, RIDGEWAY via OPHIR

Six couples met at Black Bear for breakfast and then 11 of us drove across Ophir towards Telluride where we picked up the Lost Dollar Road.  This was the first time we had ever been over the Lost Dollar and it wasn't a disappointment -- lots of awesome scenery.  We ended up at the True Grit restaurant in Ridgeway for a late lunch.  John Wayne's True Grit was filmed in and around Ridgeway.  Then, we came home on Hwy 550 thru Ouray.
