June 9, 10: HANGING OUT IN TOWN

The last couple of days we have been real busy doing NOTHING!  We did have to repair a flat tire on the Jeep.  First one in all of the years coming out here and it was from a nail; not a rock as you might think.  We also met the part time vet and had Maggie's bloodwork done.  Some of her emzynes are down; some up so the Florida vet has recommended changing the dosage on her meds.  She is pretty lethargic with occasional bursts of energy.  We have not taken her on a trail yet.  She's content just chilling out in the RV.   Her most exciting time of the day is still breakfast and dinner.

Jimmy in his recliner with the mountains out the window:
 A view of "downtown":
You can see where they had the fire recently that burned two stores:
(There was another one last week that damaged two more stores.)
The train comes in from Durango & dumps out passengers for a few hours of dining & $pending.  The whistle is music to the shopkeepers' ears.

The man next to us told me that snow was predicted for here tomorrow but I just checked weather and the ten day forecast calls for days in the mid 60s nights in the low 30s.  I hear that it is summer somewhere.
